an on-going grief support group for all those who have suffered some kind of loss
- ONLINE EVENT via Zoom - 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of every month - - 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm CT -
Story Shepherd/Spiritual Leader Kim Andrews has been masterfully creating sacred space for sharing and healing of hearts since 2013, when she first started having women's gatherings in her home. This group is open to all those who have suffered a loss, irrespective of the source of that loss. We suffer loss and experience grief as a result of the ending of relationships (divorce, friendship), being a new empty-nester, receiving a disturbing diagnosis, the death of a loved one (including a pet); while serving as a caregiver, after loss of our livelihood (job or business), when a loved one is incarcerated, and more.
You are not required to be on video if you prefer not to be. You are free to share or just listen. Our discussion is free of platitudes and steps and stages of grief. It's real, honest talk about our experiences of grief and how one might navigate the experience consciously, with less fear and anxiety, more clarity and grace. Bring your pain, confusion, anger, doubts, feelings of hopelessness & helplessness. Our goal is that you leave feeling more relaxed, less alone, and with more energy for living. Your heart is safe with us.
Kim believes that it is possible to experience peace while we are in the midst of devastating circumstances. Listen to Kim's talk about how she navigated grief after her mother experienced two strokes in 2015.
Kim Andrews explains why and how she made friends with grief and what peace in the midst of grief looks like.
